Bonjour à tous! 👋 Whether you’re a curious beginner, a lifelong language lover, or just starting French for fun, I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to our A1-level French course – an exciting 3-month journey into one of the world’s most beautiful and widely spoken languages!
In this blog series, you’ll find fun tips, helpful grammar guides, cultural insights, and bite-sized challenges to support your learning every step of the way.
What You Can Expect from This Course
Over the next 3 months, we’ll meet 5 days a week for a total of 60 hours. You’ll learn how to:
- Greet people and introduce yourself.
- Talk about your family, hobbies, and daily routine.
- Ask and answer simple questions.
- Understand basic grammar like verbs, gender, and sentence structure.
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to hold simple conversations, write short texts, and feel confident navigating everyday French situations.
A Bit About Me
I’m your French instructor for this course, and I’ll be guiding you through your first steps in learning French. I’ve taught students of all ages – including both children and adults – and I truly believe anyone can learn a language with the right tools, time, and support.
You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to show up with curiosity and an open mind.
How to Prepare
Here are 3 simple things you can do to start strong:
✅ Create a French folder (digital or notebook): Keep notes, vocab, and assignments organized.
✅ Set a daily goal: Just 10 minutes a day outside class makes a big difference!
✅ Download a free app like Quizlet to practice vocabulary.
If you’re a parent reading this with your child, you can join the fun by practicing greetings together at home.
A Tiny Challenge for You
Try saying this sentence aloud (don’t worry if your accent isn’t perfect!):
“Bonjour, je m’appelle [your name] et je commence le français aujourd’hui.”
(“Hello, my name is [your name] and I’m starting French today.”)
You’ve already spoken your first sentence in French. 🎉 Bravo!
Coming Up Next…
In our next blog, we’ll cover survival phrases for everyday conversations – so you can say Bonjour with confidence anywhere, anytime!
À très bientôt — see you very soon!
Let’s make this a fun, motivating, and successful experience for everyone. Feel free to leave a comment or message if you want to share why you chose to learn French!
